Exploring Web3 with a referencing overview

Exploring Web3 with a referencing overview

For some people Web3 is an utter nonsense. For others, it's like a religion. Almost.

I've been exploring Web3 for quite some time and I must say I'm fascinated by the developments that are currently working towards the big migration. It's like more and more hopping onto Noah's Arc. They must know something that we don't, right?

Web3 project is indeed so big that if we can truly make it to Web3, our lives will completely change. It's likely to start new type of wars. New types of businesses. New types of living and more.

That also means, the Web3 world might not be that close to us, just yet.

We should however, expect to see some changes day by day. Maybe not that noticeable to the an average eye but it's happening. The services we currently use. The online experiences we build. The difficulties we face. Web3 is working towards resolving many complexities.

As it's a massive change, it is not something we expect to see happening over night.

Think of the ''Like'' button. It first appeared on Vimeo then Facebook made it hit the roof. Then bit by bit it started spreading all over the web. Now, wherever you look you see a like button. You know how to use it as it's almost like knowing how to put a shoe on your feet.

Web3 is pretty similar in many ways. It will start somewhere. Adaptation will take some time. More will follow the trends. Implementation will become easier for the mass market. Then we will see a mass move onto Web3.

The question is... When?

We're already seeing plenty of signs of it with tens of Crypto, NFT, blockchain etc firms popping up and developing solutions that are coming up with a vision to operate on Web3. This means they have the Web3 thinking at the core of their product. Albeit, it might not be quite Web3 yet which make them sound like a buzz word abusers.

Don't get me wrong though. It might still be a buzz word to many, but it is tomorrows reality.
