Don't make the same mistake as I did!

Heard this before? I bet you did. Either from parents, friends, colleagues, bosses, consultants (more likely) and such...

Yep the wise words penetrate your brain like wd40 breaking into rusty metal.

Attention. Drama. Hesitation. Worry.  ''Oh totally, I got to be careful.''

Do we even learn if we don't make  a mistake?

Do you remember anything that you learned very well without making a mistake first?

Do you?

If the mistake is not likely to cost you the most valuable thing, your life, perhaps it's worth a shot.

Go, fail. Get up. Try and fail again.

Fail but fail better.

You just discovered another way that whatever you are trying to achieve doesn't work.

Congratulations you are now an inventor. You've just invented a way for that thing to not work. In fact, this quote belongs to Edison. Full credit!

Edison failed thousands of times while working on his discovery of a light bulb. When he was asked how he felt about failing so many times, he answered,

No I did not fail. I found thousand ways to not light a bulb.

Mistakes teaches you more than successes.

Life is all about learning. If you don't learn, are you even alive? Think about it.

And if you ask me, what I am failing at nowadays... I have answers. Oh I do.

I picked up gaming again! I used to kick ass big time. Tried to do the same a few times in the last 20 years and failed miserably and did not enjoy much. Doing it once more and it's working pretty good I would say.

Another thing I set to  fail is videography. Working on some YouTube stuff. Learning how to capture videos, work with audio, edit, script, etc. Storytelling, creativity, engagement and more. Once you are in it and keep on failing you discover more and more. And this is ladies and gents what I am talking about.

Make the same mistake. In your own way. In your own life. Get up once more.

Not about how many times you fall, it's about how many times you got up.

Live the life as you should.
